Buying from Technology Warehouse Australia

Product orders may be placed via our online store or by fax or phone.

Our website offers secure shopping and helpful product information. If calling to place an order, we will make every effort to offer you professional service.

We accept payment by Direct Deposit, Money Order, Cheque and Bank Cheque (subject to clearing of funds), Cash, Amex, Diners, Visa, Bank Card and Master Card.

We do not normally charge a credit card surcharge. Special offers however may be subject to a 3% credit card surcharge, however you will be contacted before we process your order.

First time orders placed online with credit card payment and purchase value of $250 will require ID verification to be faxed or scanned and emailed to us. Alternately payment by Direct Deposit is preferred. Goods can be collected from our retail store and warehouse located at 45-51 Grimwade Street Mitchell ACT 2911. Otherwise shipping is available (see below).

Orders are not charged for until goods are ready to ship. Exceptions may include system builds and specially ordered items which we may ask for a 25% deposit (we will contact you first).

Cancelling an online order

While shopping on line you may cancel your order simply by deleting the items from your shopping cart. If you have placed an order and would like to cancel it, please contact us within 24 hours by calling our sales department on 1300 655 335 or emailing us at sales@techwarehouse.com.au.

Shipping

We ship products within Australia only. All shipping is insured by us. There is no extra charge for insurance.

We ship products via TNT Express, Australian Air Express, Universal Express and Fastway Couriers. Items shipped via Australian Air Express can also be delivered to PO Boxes. Our online freight quoter will give you an estimated shipping cost.

If you require any other delivery method the additional shipping charges will be calculated and factored into the total cost of your purchase. Please contact us directly for a quote on any desired shipping options other than those shown here. Ie. Using your own courier

Please allow adequate time for us to process and pack your order before shipping. We typically require 24- to 48-hours to pack and process your order. We will make all efforts to ship your order to you promptly.

Please open and inspect your package immediately upon receipt. If there is any visible damage please notify the driver and refuse to accept the delivery. Please contact our sales department on 1300 655 335 or email us at sales@techwarehouse.com.au so we can arrange to have a replacement unit shipped to you as soon as possible.

We want you to be completely satisfied with everything you buy from us. If for any reason you are not satisfied, or upon receipt you find a product is defective, please return the product for replacement or refund. We have a 7-day DOA period, within that time if a product fails, we will endeavour to replace your product rather than repair it (not including complete systems).

Refunds and Exchange of goods.

To replace a defective product, simply return it to us within the warranty period and include:

1. Your name (as it appears on the original order),
2. Your address, phone number and e-mail address,
3. The date of shipment, if it is known,
4. The product title and description, and . . .
5. The reason for the return/exchange. If the product is defective, please describe the nature of the problem.
6. Copy of Invoice/Receipt

Software is non refundable. Please see below for Hardware conditions.

You are responsible for the return shipping of the product, preferably in the original shipping materials. Please package it carefully.

Once we receive your return, we will test and repair the item (unless DOA).

We will pay for the shipping of replacement product to you.

Please note: Non-defective returns may be subject to a 25% restocking fee and must be in saleable condition. Refunds do not include freight costs.

If you are requesting a refund, all non-defective merchandise must be in its original, unused and unaltered condition. If possible, return it in its original packaging and ship it insured and traceable.

You are responsible for the shipping and insurance fees.

Once we receive and inspect the returned product and determine that it is in "as new" condition and has not been altered, we will issue you a refund. As noted above, a 25% restocking fee may apply. Please note that the return period is within 7 Days of Invoice/Receipt date. Specially ordered items may be subject to a higher restocking fee. IE. High end video editing suite or high end rendering card.
